Rick Martin
Rick Martin, President and Chief Executive Officer
Rick has over 25 years of success in the management of consumer product marketing and merchandising organizations, including the launch of the Compaq Presario brand into consumer retail channels, where he developed the consumer line which became a $100 million business in its first year of retail distribution.
Rick served as Chairman and CEO of Positive Communications, a nationwide wireless messaging company marketing through national consumer electronics retailers, guiding the company to over $50M in revenue, and providing wireless messaging services to over 300k subscribers.
At BusinessLand, Inc, a national distributor of personal computer and related products, Rick was responsible for management of the company's product marketing and supplier relationships, from the company's early stages through over $1B in annual sales.
Rick also has extensive retail store merchandising experience, having managed national field and corporate merchandising programs for Sears and The Gap Stores.
Rick holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Hanover College.
Steve Dunn
Steve Dunn, Chief Financial Officer
As SellPoint's Chief Financial Officer, Steve brings over 30 years of accomplishments in high growth businesses taking a senior executive role in finance and general management.
Prior to joining SellPoint, Steve was in charge of finance and administration in the Pacific Region for Carlson Marketing, the largest marketing services firm in the U.S. As Controller for Discovery Toys, a leading provider of educational products for children, Steve oversaw growth from $25 million to over $100 million and earned Discover Toys a place on Inc. magazine's fastest growing private companies list. Steve has also held financial positions at United Vintners and Trans Ocean Leasing.

Steve has an MBA from Golden Gate University and a BS in accounting from the University of San Francisco.
Brian Castelli
Brian Castelli, Vice President of Client Services

As Vice President of Client Services, Brian Castelli is responsible for the both the delivery of all SellPoint services, including custom professional services and product development, through the company’s team of Solution Specialists, Account Managers and Business Development Representatives. His team coordinates the efforts of all SellPoint departments, from Creative Services to Retail Syndication and Product Development to insure that SellPoint clients receive the most effective results from their engagement with the company.

Brian has over 12 years of experience in the IT, Web and Creative Service industries where he has demonstrated a proven track record of exceeding client expectations. Most recently he served as SellPoint’s Director of Product Management, working closely with the company’s engineering team to develop and launch several pivotal product releases, along with managing numerous client-driven custom projects. Prior to his Product Management role, Brian was a Senior Producer for SellPoint’s Creative Services group, where he managed content creation for multiple global brands.

He began his career in IT as a web programmer and sales support specialist for Campbell’s Soup Company. There he designed and developed various corporate Intranet sites and supported a sales force of over 1000 employees. He then moved to the high tech publishing industry working for Gemstar eBook, supporting 30 publisher accounts and publishing 25% of the company's total catalog. Following that he was a Senior Technology Consultant for Thomson Reuters where he co-created a strategic sales channel, interfacing with C level executives at AM-Law 100 firms and was the technical lead on the company’s cost recovery efforts.

Brian holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and an international MBA from Trinity College Dublin.

Sudhir Kulkarni
Sudhir Kulkarni , Chief Technical Officer & Vice President, Engineering
Sudhir brings more than 15 years of experience in evangelizing and delivering state-of-the-art software solutions in diverse disciplines such as internet applications, middleware, and system management tools. Sudhir possesses significant expertise in developing and delivering SaaS applications and and managing 24x7 network operations.
Most recently, Sudhir served as Vice-President of Engineering for LiveVox, where he managed 24x7 datacenters and a team of software engineers across the US, Canada, and Banaglore, India.
Previoulsy, Sudhir was Managing Director of Informatica India, where he was responsible for delivering products and services through the development and integration of leading-edge technoligies. Sudhir was also Vice-President of Engineering at Certive, Inc., and also led engineering teams at BMC and Oracle.
Sudhir earned his Master's Degreee from the Indian Institute of Technology at Chennai, and his Bachelor of Science degree from the Regional Engineering College in Warangal, India.
Jon Brooks
Jon Brooks, Senior Director Retail Network Management
Jon brings a successful and diverse 20-year career in rich media technologies to SellPoint, with recognized skills in strategic leadership, online merchandising techniques, architecting rich media applications and designing eLearning content.
Prior to joining SellPoint, Jon was with PeopleSoft, where he designed and built global marketing applications that drastically reduced the cost of managing and delivering mission-critical content for PeopleSoft's worldwide sales and marketing organization.
Previously, Jon was Creative Director for Ultris Inc., a software developer of patented technology for real-time information exchange and online virtual classrooms.  Saba Software acquired Ultris in 2001,  and Jon served as Creative Director of User Experience for Saba.  Jon also produced award winning software titles for The Learning Company, and was a vital leader of the company through its public offering.
Jon holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of the Pacific and served on the University of the Pacific Advisory Board.
Eric Baxter
Eric Baxter, Director of Creative Services
Eric is an accomplished online creative professional with over 10 years experience with Fortune 500 firms and global brands in a variety of industries. Prior to joining SellPoint, Eric managed web production for NORCAL Insurance, where he led collaborative efforts with cross functional teams to produce online applications and advertising campaigns.

Previously, Eric worked on a series of contract assignments, including projects for HBO (Home Box Office) & No Fear, for which he received the esteemed Communication Arts “Website of the Week” award in November, 2000. Eric also co-owned and founded Intervelop, a successful web design & development firm as well as Baxter & Lewis, a full-service creative services firm with a roster of over 30 clients.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from San Diego State University.
H. DuBose Montgomery, Managing Director, Menlo Ventures
DuBose was a founder of Menlo Ventures in 1976, and has been an active director in many of the Firm's portfolio companies over the past 33 years.
At Menlo, DuBose focuses on investments in leading companies in the information technology sector. Some of his current investments and board seats include: Entone, Firetide, freightquote.com, Golden Gateway Financial, NComputing, OnRequest images, SellPoint and Wellcore. His prior investments include: EndoVascular Technologies, acquired by Guidant Corp. (GDT); Frame Technology Corporation, acquired by Adobe Systems (ADBE); Gilead Sciences (GILD); Infoseek Corporation, acquired by the Walt Disney Co. (DIS); LSI Logic Corporation (LSI); Micro Therapeutics (MTIX); Network Equipment Technologies(NWK); Valid Logic Systems, acquired by Cadence Design Systems (CDN) and VNUS Medical Technologies (VNUS).
DuBose is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (B.S. in Electrical Engineering, M.S. in Electrical Engineering, B.S. in Management Science) and the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration (M.B.A.). He previously served as a trustee of the Corporation of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and on the MIT visiting committees for the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and for Sponsored Research.
Standish O'Grady, Managing Director, Granite Ventures, LLC.

Standish O'Grady co-founded Granite Ventures as the early-stage venture capital group within Hambrecht & Quist in 1992, and co-led establishing Granite as an independent firm in 1998 and growing Granite to over $1 billion of funds under management.

Standish previously served in various positions within Hambrecht & Quist's venture capital business from 1984 to 1998. He focuses on investments in software companies. Standish currently serves on the Boards of Directors for Crowd Science and SellPoint. Standish's successful investments include Digimarc (DMRC); Five Across, acquired by Cisco (CSCO); Kontiki, acquired by VeriSign (VRSN); Mercury Interactive, acquired by Hewlett-Packard (HPQ); Siebel Systems, acquired by Oracle (ORCL); StepUp Commerce, acquired by Intuit (INTU); Trovix, acquired by Monster World Wide (MWW); Tumbleweed Communications, acquired by Axway; and Vignette, acquired by OpenText (OTEX).
Standish started his career as a process engineer with Intel Corporation. He leverages 25 years of venture capital experience with his background in engineering, technology and operations to guide portfolio companies through the nuances of building leading companies in emerging technology markets.
Standish holds a B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Dartmouth College's Tuck School of Business Administration.

Stephen Gold
Stephen has an extensive background in manufacturing and software development and has held senior positions in general management, sales, and marketing for both successful start-ups as well as large global corporations. He is currently the CEO of Azerity, a leading software developer in the price and channel management arena. Previously, Stephen was Vice President of Digital Market, a supply chain software vendor (acquired by Agile). At Reptron, were he was Vice President of Marketing, Stephen was instrumental in taking the company public. At Packard-Bell/Cal-Abco he launched two new business units and held both the Vice President of Sales and Vice President of Marketing titles. He was recognized as Entrepreneur of the Year by both the Pennsylvania SBA and Carnegie-Mellon University. Stephen has been a featured speaker at Dataquest, Gartner, BusinessWeek, Internet Commerce Expo (ICE), Electronics Distribution Show (EDS), Electronics Industry Association (EIA), EIDX, Institute for International Research, and various Universities. He currently serves on several private and non-profit Boards as well as an advisor to various start-ups. Stephen holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Carnegie-Mellon University.
Mike Bateman
Mike Bateman has more than 40 years of experience in senior management roles in high-technology companies. Most recently he served as chairman of Blue Pumpkin, a leading workforce optimization software provider. Previously, Bateman was Vice President of Corporate Development at Tandem Computers. For more than 20 years, he filled key executive positions at Tandem, including Vice President of third-party marketing, and Vice President and General Manager of Tandem's Central Division. Bateman was President of international Data Sciences Corporation, and performed management duties for Arthur Andersen & Co. He is Chairman of Boniva, eBoomerang, and Metrics Corporation, and on the board of directors of Vocent and the Silicon Valley chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.
